Industrial Alkaline Xylanase for Pulp & Paper Processing

Industrial Alkaline Xylanase is an industrial-grade enzyme preparation designed for modern pulp and papermaking processes. It selectively hydrolyzes xylan and related hemicellulose fractions in lignocellulosic fibers, helping optimize pulp structure and improve process performance without degrading the cellulose backbone.

Alkaline xylanase is produced through deep fermentation using a genetically optimized microbial strain and contains high activity of 1,4-β-D-xylanase. This product effectively acts on xylan and arabinoxylan present in plant fibers, cleaving the β-1,4 glycosidic bonds in the xylan backbone. As a result, xylan is degraded into xylose, loosening the fiber structure, improving permeability, and promoting the release of internal fiber components.

This alkaline xylanase can be used for enzymatic treatment of materials such as wood pulp, timber, bamboo, herbal raw materials, tobacco leaves, and animal feed.

In papermaking systems, hemicellulose components such as xylan can form barriers on fiber surfaces and within fiber networks, limiting permeability and reducing the efficiency of downstream operations. By breaking down these targeted components, this alkaline xylanase supports improved mass transfer, enhanced pulp responsiveness in processing, and more stable machine operation.

主要用途

This product is primarily used in the pulp and paper industry as a processing aid to improve operational efficiency and paper quality outcomes.

Key Benefits in Papermaking

  • Brightness improvement
Supports higher pulp brightness by reducing xylan-related barriers, which can help increase process effectiveness during pulp treatment and washing stages.
  • Viscosity reduction
Improves pulp slurry flow properties and reduces viscosity, helping stabilize pumping, screening, and flow control in production lines.
  • Faster filtration and drainage
Enhances pulp permeability and water release performance, improving filtration speed and dewatering efficiency to support smoother, higher-throughput operations.
  • Compatible with neutral-to-alkaline systems
Designed to perform reliably under conditions commonly found in industrial papermaking processes, particularly in neutral and alkaline environments.
  • Selective action to help preserve fiber strength
Targets hemicellulose fractions while maintaining cellulose chain integrity, supporting consistent physical properties of the final paper product.

應用領域

  • Pulp pretreatment and process optimization in papermaking
  • Chemical pulp, mechanical pulp, and mixed pulp systems
  • Printing paper, writing paper, packaging paper, and related paper products
  • Washing, filtration, and dewatering efficiency improvement stages
