Industrial-Grade Alkaline Lipase – High-Efficiency Fat & Oil Stain Removal Enzyme for Modern Detergent Formulations

Alkaline lipase is a highly active, liquid enzyme designed for advanced cleaning and detergent applications. It is engineered to efficiently hydrolyze a wide range of fats and oils, particularly the stubborn lipid-based soils
commonly found on textiles, household fabrics, and industrial linens. This product delivers powerful performance even under mild washing conditions, making it a core functional ingredient in modern eco-friendly detergent formulations.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Outstanding Oil & Grease Removal: Rapidly breaks down triglycerides into diglycerides, monoglycerides, glycerol, and fatty acids, enabling efficient removal of body oils, food grease, sebum, sauces, and makeup residues.
  • Works in Mild Washing Conditions: High activity across a broad temperature and pH range reduces the need for high-alkaline or high-temperature washing systems, helping protect fabrics and reduce energy usage.
  • Eco-Friendly Cleaning Mechanism: Enzymatic action reduces reliance on heavy surfactants and builders, contributing to more sustainable cleaning formulations.
  • Compatible with Multi-Enzyme Systems: Can be combined with protease, amylase, cellulase, and mannanase for synergistic performance in premium detergent products.
  • Suitable for Both Household & Industrial Use: Effective on daily apparel, hotel linens, uniform laundry, and other professional cleaning operations.

How It Works

Lipase is one of the most important enzyme preparations used in detergents. Grease in soup stains, sweat stains, and coffee stains is one of the most common types of dirt found on clothing, and it is also the most difficult to remove with surfactants and other auxiliary agents. Lipases belong to a class of hydrolase enzymes that target ester bonds in lipid molecules. During washing, alkaline lipase attaches to insoluble fat droplets and catalyzes their breakdown through hydrolysis. This biochemical process converts complex triglycerides into smaller, more hydrophilic molecules that can be dispersed and removed by surfactants. Because fatty soils are among the most persistent and difficult-to-clean stains, the inclusion of alkaline lipase in detergent formulations significantly improves overall cleaning performance, especially on:

  • Body sebum and sweat-based stains
  • Food grease, sauces, oils, and dairy residues
  • Cosmetic and skincare oil residues
  • General household and industrial grease contamination

Recommended Applications

  • Liquid laundry detergents
  • Concentrated detergent gels or capsules
  • Powder laundry detergents and multi-enzyme blends
  • Industrial and commercial laundry cleaning systems
  • Textile pre-soak or pre-treatment solutions
  • Hard-surface cleaning products targeting oily residues

Usage Guidelines

Recommended dosage: 0.15% – 0.5% of the detergent formula (adjust according to pH, temperature, and cleaning needs).

Optimal working conditions:

  • Temperature: 25 – 60°C
  • pH: 6.0 – 11.0

The enzyme remains active across a wide operating window, but activity may decrease outside the optimal range.
