Neutral Cellulase Granulate Enzyme for Textile Bio-Washing Process of Denim Garments
Introduction
Conzyme® TM600 is a concentrated granular neutral cellulase preparation designed specifically for the denim abrasion process. It is recommended for formulations used in the bio-washing of denim garments, imparting a high abrasion and fading effect. It can also be used for processing cotton, hemp, viscose, yarn, and Lyocell.

Definition of Unit: 1 unit of CMCase equals the amount of enzyme that hydrolyzes CMC-Na to produce 1 μg of reducing sugar (glucose) in 1 minute at 50℃ and pH 6.0. Color can vary from batch to batch, and color intensity does not indicate enzyme activity.
Mechanism
Cellulose is a glucose polymer linked with β-1,4-glycosidic bonds. The cellulase system consists of three major components: endoglucanase (endo-1,4-β-D-glucanase or EG), cellobiohydrolases (exo-1,4-β-D-glucanases, or CX, or CBH), and β-glucosidases (1,4-β-D-glucosidase; BG; BGL). These activities work synergistically on cellulose, efficiently converting it into glucose. The product is designed to enzymatically abrade denim without harming the fabric.
