Neutral Cellulase Enzyme | Bio-Polishing & Hairiness Removal | Garment Washing & Denim Finishing
This product is a high-concentration neutral cellulase enzyme designed for textile wet processing, including bio-polishing, hairiness removal, e anti-pilling finishing. It operates reliably within a broad working pH range of 4.5–7.5, allowing stable performance under both neutral and mildly acidic conditions.
The enzyme helps deliver a cleaner fabric surface, smoother hand-feel, e reduced pilling tendency, while maintaining a low-damage profile to minimize risks of excessive strength loss.
On cellulosic fibers such as cotton e viscose (and their blends), this neutral cellulase efficiently removes surface fuzz and microfibrils to improve fabric appearance and reduce linting during wear and laundering.
Em denim finishing and garment washing, it supports controlled surface effects and refined wash-down looks, and can assist in achieving a soft, uniform “blooming” or vintage-style finish. Its wide pH tolerance and flexible processing profile make it a practical choice for mills and laundries seeking consistent finishing results across varied recipes.
Principais benefícios
- Fast bio-polishing: Quickly improves surface smoothness, cleanliness, and fabric hand-feel
- Low fiber damage: Helps reduce the risk of over-polishing and excessive strength loss
- Wide pH performance: Reliable activity within pH 4.5–7.5 for broader recipe compatibility
- Blend-ready: Recommended to dilute first, then blend for customized finishing systems
- Shorter processing time: Helps simplify workflows and reduce total cycle time
- Co-bath friendly: Pode ser utilizado em conjunto com catalase in the same bath to streamline wet processing
Aplicações típicas
- Bio-polishing (post-dye or post-wash): Smoother surface, improved drape, and premium appearance
- Hairiness removal / de-fuzzing: Cleaner fabric face, reduced linting, and reduced pilling tendency
- Anti-pilling finishing: Helps minimize pill formation during wear and repeated laundering
- Garment washing: Suitable for cotton/cellulosic garments to refine hand-feel and appearance
- Denim finishing: Supports controlled surface effects and uniform wash-down / vintage looks
Practical note: For best results, always run a lab trial to confirm the ideal dosage and treatment time, especially for delicate knits, lightweight fabrics, or garments requiring strict strength retention.
Product Profile
- Forma: Líquido
- Cor: Brown (slight variations may occur due to fermentation raw materials and cycle factors; performance is not affected)
- Odor: Leve odor de fermentação
- Solubilidade: Totalmente solúvel em água
Condições de trabalho recomendadas
- Temperatura: 45–55 °C
- Working pH range: 4.5–7.5
Maintaining stable pH and temperature within the recommended range helps ensure consistent polishing performance, reduces the risk of uneven finishing, and supports better strength retention. The pH operating window aligns with standard pH color reference ranges commonly used in textile wet processing.
Suggested Dosage
0.1% – 0.5% (o.w.f.)
The actual dosage depends on fabric construction, target polishing intensity, equipment type, liquor ratio, processing time, and the presence of auxiliaries. Always confirm the best addition level through bench trials and scale-up validation.
How to Stop the Enzyme (Deactivation)
If you need to terminate enzyme activity at the end of processing, deactivation can be achieved by:
- Adjusting the bath to pH > 9.0 and holding for 5 minutes
Recommended pH adjusters include:
- Soda ash (sodium carbonate)
- Borax (sodium borate)
- Alkaline detergents
Proper deactivation helps prevent over-polishing, improves reproducibility, and reduces the likelihood of unwanted strength loss, especially on lightweight or high-value fabrics.
Armazenar
- Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place
- Temperatura de armazenamento recomendada: 2–25 °C
- Avoid direct sunlight
- Lower temperatures help extend product shelf life
Composição
Contains cellulase enzyme with supporting buffering agents e stabilizers.
Compatibility & Process Notes
This neutral cellulase can be applied as a standalone finishing enzyme or integrated into multi-step or consolidated wash sequences. It is suitable for dilution and blending (recommended after dilution) to meet different fabric types and finishing targets.
The product can also be used in a co-bath process with catalase to simplify wet processing flow and reduce total steps.
Important: Enzyme finishing results may vary with fiber quality, fabric construction, dyeing method, and bath chemistry. Always validate on your target material before full-scale production.
