Applications
Used in brewing, distilling and starch processing to increase maltose production during mashing and liquefaction workflows. In maltose syrup and glucose syrup production, β-amylase supports higher fermentable sugar profiles, improved conversion efficiency and reduced downstream processing time. Suitable for cereal-based substrates including barley, wheat, corn and rice, as well as controlled saccharification in food ingredient manufacturing. Powder format is preferred for dry blending and premix systems; liquid format integrates easily into automated dosing lines and continuous production.
