Applications
Used in starch sugar processing to convert liquefied corn, wheat, cassava and potato starch into glucose syrups with high DE values and improved yield. In brewing and distilling, liquid glucoamylase supports complete attenuation in beer, high-gravity fermentation and efficient ethanol production from grain mashes. Blended aggressive liquid formulations with pullulanase are available for full starch conversion in wort and mash, reducing residual dextrins and increasing fermentable sugar. Powder formats are suited for dry blending in feed, premix and research applications including glycogen determination and controlled saccharification studies.

CAS No. 9032-08-0. Produced by submerged fermentation of Aspergillus niger, with select blended formulations incorporating pullulanase from Bacillus subtilis. Offered in powder and liquid forms with standard activities including 100,000 U/g, 150,000 U/g and 200,000 U/g; food-grade options available for commercial food, beverage and ethanol plants.
